Landscape Artworks from the Collection of Reykjanes Art Museum
In the Movie Hall we have artworks from the museum's collection on display. They are made by 16 Icelandic artist from various times. They all show Icelandic nature and are made from materials such as oil, clay and textile. The oldest work is made in 1906 by Þórarinn B. Þorláksson and the youngest one is made in 2008 by Sigtryggur Bjarni Baldvinsson. Other artists participating in the exhibition are Arngunnur Ýr, Ása Ólafsdóttir, Ásgrímur Jónsson, Eggert Guðmundsson, Eiríkur Smith, Guðmundur Karl Ásbjörnsson, Húbert Nói, Jóhannes Geir, Jóhannes Kjarval, Jón Stefánsson, Ólafur Túbals, Sigmar V. Vilhelmsson and Steinunn Marteinsdóttir.
